Mercedes Quintos-Gomez, M.D.

Mercedes Quintos-Gomez was born in Manhattan, New York. She received her M.D. degree from the Saint Louis University College of Medicine, Philippines (1988). She completed the Family Practice residency program at University of Maryland in Baltimore (1993). She was the first Family Practice resident to receive the Peter Hartmann Award for Excellence in the Behavioral Sciences. She joined Annandale Family Medicine in December, 1994. Her special interests are in diabetes and prevention of disease. Dr. Quintos is fluent in Spanish and Tagalog, and enjoys multicultural events. She is married, has a daughter and lives in Vienna.
